It is our policy to make our setting accessible to children and families from all sections of the community. The numbers and ages of children admitted to the setting comply with the legal space requirements set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
In order to accomplish this we will:
Pro-actively market the setting to ensure that its existence is widely known in all local communities.
Have a waiting list in place if the setting is full.
Be as flexible as possible to accommodate the changing needs of our families.
We offer two free of charge short settle in sessions.
We work in partnership with parents/guardians
We operate an Inclusion and Equality policy and ensure that all children have access to places and services irrespective of their gender, race, disability, religion or belief or sexual orientation of parents.
Our opening times are Monday to Friday 7.30am - 6pm, 47 weeks of the year. The attendance of two sessions over 2 separate days is advised in the child’s best interests, as too big a gap between sessions can be detrimental to them settling in. It also allows the children to get the most out of the learning and activities we offer, and we can be more flexible in planning the day to meet their needs.
We do not charge a registration fee or top up fees. If you are using EYFE funded hours and require additional hours, you will be charged per hour for the additional hours required. Prior to a child attending our setting, parents must complete and sign a contract with our setting, terms and conditions. These forms provide ourselves with personal details, parental responsibilities, dietary requirements, allergies etc. This enables us to provide the best care for your child.
All the data we collect is stored securely inline with our Data Protection policy.
